We welcome you to join the Cook Center in their mental health series this month. They are hosting several sessions tailored towards guardians to educate, inform, and empower families to navigate their children’s ups and downs. A range of topics will be covered, from anxiety to protecting your child on social media. A special session on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, is titled Understanding Eating Disorders. The deadline is almost here! 2025 Writing Contest: Innovating Smarter
This contest is sponsored by the National Academy of Engineering and the theme this year is Innovating Smarter. Students will write a piece describing a common object they would make “smart” and explain what it would do, how it would help people, and what could go wrong. Congratulations to Derek Rodriguez a 5th grader in Ms. Sanker's Class for winning 2nd Place in the Omicron Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and L.E.A.D.E.
