This is Marcus Petty, Principal of James Monroe High School, with a few important announcements.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our students. As we move through the second quarter, please encourage your child to stay focused on academics, attend school daily, and take advantage of tutoring opportunities.
Additionally, please remind students to follow all school expectations and arrive to school and each class on time. Our goal is to continue maintaining a safe, positive, and productive learning environment for all.
Additionally, Q2 Interim Grades will be sent home with students on Tuesday, 11/18. Please review these reports with your student(s) and contact their teachers if you have any questions or concerns.
This past week, we also held a student assembly to reinforce the importance of daily attendance, punctuality, and strategies to improve academic performance. Please partner with us by encouraging your child to spend time each evening completing homework and reviewing notes from class. These habits, when put together, support stronger academic success.
