Interim Principal Wheeler's Weekly Update: 04/06/2025

Dear evening, Hugh Mercer Families,

I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable weekend! We’re gearing up for another productive week of learning as we move closer to end-of-year assessments.

SOL Retake Forms — Grades 3-5

Families of students in grades 3–5, please be sure you have signed and returned your child’s SOL retake form. Having this form ahead of time helps us plan for retakes and allows us to begin remediating immediately. Your support in getting these forms back promptly is greatly appreciated!

Patriot PRIDE & Behavior Expectations

As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we need your help reinforcing our Patriot PRIDE expectations. Please encourage your child to stay respectful, responsible, and focused during the school day. While we have many exciting end-of-year activities planned, students must consistently demonstrate positive behavior to participate.
