As part of the December spirit days, classes were encouraged to decorate halls and doors. There were some very creative pieces around school. Math trees, a gingerbread house, and Charlie Brown were among the decorations.
On Friday, some very special visitors stopped by Hugh Mercer. Mrs. Volpert's class demonstrated the HM Patriot Pledge. Second and third grade students then performed a song from their concert. Afterwards, our visiting representatives were treated to cookies, punch, and a token of our gratitude.
